How alerts behave
Balance alerts are sent when Watch My BTC detects a change for a watched address or XPUB-derived address. Refresh and delivery are processed by the service, so alerts should not be treated as exact real-time guarantees.

Current alert destinations include email, Slack, Discord, and REST webhook targets. You can choose destinations that match personal, team, or automation workflows.

Trust and safety
Watch My BTC monitors public-chain data and does not need custody of funds. It cannot spend from a watched address or XPUB because it never asks for private keys.
